UNIVERSITÀ COMMERCIALE LUIGI BOCCONI

DESIGN BY Costa Zanibelli Associati
LOCATION Milan, Italy
YEAR 2018

After the turnkey project for the Isonzo Residence, curated in 2014, Lema continued by also furnishing the Castiglioni Residence, the 9-storey cylindrical tower – designed to cater to 300 residents – that stands out in the Milan Luigi Bocconi University campus designed by Studio SANAA by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa. An extensive landscape and environmental project in Zone 5, located in the former “Centrale del Latte” (Milan’s dairy central), where a citadel open to the community and students was created, thus regenerating the urban scene of the surrounding neighbourhood. A new, prestigious benchmark for Lema Contract, who supplied all the fixtures and furniture of the students’ apartments, as well as those in the common areas of the ground floor and the first floor, together with Costa Zanibelli Associati, who curated the project’s planning and supervision. Lema confirms itself once more as the ideal partner for residential and public projects, where the focus is on customisation.
